What’s the Offer?

VinFast is now offering free fast charging until March 31, 2029 through its V-Green network. Earlier, this benefit was set to end in July 2028, but the extension adds extra value for new and existing customers.

This offer is not limited to India. It also applies in countries like Indonesia and Philippines, showing the company’s broader push for EV adoption across key markets.

How This Benefits You

Charging costs are one of the main concerns for EV owners. With this initiative, VinFast is removing a major part of that expense.

Here’s what it means in practical terms:

  • Lower day-to-day running costs
  • Big savings for people who drive frequently
  • More predictable ownership expenses
  • Less worry about rising electricity prices

For daily commuters or long-distance drivers, the savings over a few years can be quite substantial.

VinFast’s Current Lineup in India

VinFast entered the Indian market with two electric SUVs:

  • VinFast VF 6
  • VinFast VF 7

Both models were launched on September 6, 2025, marking the company’s official debut in India’s passenger vehicle space.

What’s Coming Next

VinFast is not stopping with just two models. The company plans to expand its lineup with:

  • VinFast VF 3, a smaller and more affordable option
  • A seven-seater electric MPV for families
  • Potential entry into electric scooters

This wider range could make EVs more accessible to different types of buyers.

Strong Manufacturing Push in India

To support its growth, VinFast has set up a major manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi. The plant, backed by an investment of Rs 15,000 crore, highlights the company’s long-term commitment to the Indian market.

At the same time, its parent group Vingroup is running a special ‘Trade Gas for Electric’ programme. This offer gives an additional 3 percent discount to customers who switch from petrol or diesel vehicles to a VinFast EV.

With free charging extended till 2029, VinFast is making a strong case for electric mobility. Lower ownership costs, expanding product options, and local manufacturing together create a compelling package for buyers.
