Honda SP 125 2025: Enhanced Tech Meets Commuter-Friendly Design
Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) has introduced the upgraded 2025 SP 125 in the Indian market, retaining its Drum and Disc variants. The Drum variant is priced at Rs 91,771, while the Disc variant costs Rs 1,00,284 (both ex-showroom). These prices mark an increase of Rs 4,303 and Rs 8,532, respectively, over the outgoing model.
Yogesh Mathur, Director of Sales and Marketing at HMSI, expressed optimism about the launch, stating, “The SP 125 has consistently been the most favoured motorcycle in its category, and with this latest upgrade, we have further enhanced its style, performance, and convenience.”

Although the overall design remains familiar, Honda has introduced new elements to elevate the motorcycle's appeal. It is now available in five new striking colors:
The 2025 model also boasts an all-LED headlamp and taillamp, enhancing visibility and style. Revised tank shrouds contribute to a slightly more aggressive stance, adding a sporty edge to its commuter-friendly design.
Advanced Features and Connectivity
The 2025 SP 125 takes a technological leap with the addition of a 4.2-inch TFT display. This updated console offers Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and voice assistance, all accessible via the Honda RoadSync app. For added convenience, a USB Type-C charging port has been integrated, catering to the needs of modern riders.
Performance and Specifications
The bike continues to be powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder engine that complies with the latest OBD2B norms, ensuring adherence to upcoming government regulations. The engine delivers a peak output of 10.72 bhp and 10.9 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
To enhance fuel efficiency, Honda has equipped the SP 125 with an idling stop system. Its lightweight build (116kg kerb weight) and a fuel tank capacity of 11.2 liters make it an efficient choice for daily commutes.
