With the inauguration of 11 new charging stations strategically positioned in key cities and along major highways, Hyundai is poised to revolutionise the EV landscape in the country.

Cityscape Charging: Catering to Urban EV Needs
Six of the newly established charging stations dot the maps of bustling metropolises such as Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Gurugram, and Bangalore. Positioned strategically within these urban hubs, these charging stations offer seamless accessibility to EV owners, ensuring that urban mobility is not hindered by charging constraints.

Highway Haven: Facilitating Long-Distance Journeys
Recognizing the importance of long-distance travel support for EV owners, Hyundai has strategically positioned five additional charging stations along major highways including Delhi-Chandigarh, Delhi-Jaipur, Hyderabad-Vijayawada, Mumbai-Surat, and Mumbai-Nashik. These highway-side chargers promise uninterrupted journeys for EV drivers, eliminating range anxiety and enabling smooth intercity travel.

Hyundai's ultra-fast charging stations redefine efficiency, offering EV owners swift and hassle-free charging experiences. Notably, the Hyundai IONIQ 5, a flagship electric vehicle model, can achieve an impressive charging milestone, going from 10% to 80% battery capacity in a mere 21 minutes, courtesy of these cutting-edge chargers.

Streamlined User Experience
Navigating the charging ecosystem is made effortless through the MyHyundai app, which provides users with a suite of functionalities including station discovery, navigation assistance, pre-booking of charging slots, digital payment facilitation, and real-time charging status monitoring. This integration ensures a seamless and user-friendly experience for EV owners at every step of their charging journey.


Paving the Way Forward
Hyundai's vision extends beyond the present, with plans underway to further expand its ultra-fast charging network by establishing 10 or more new locations in 2024. Additionally, in alignment with its commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, Hyundai has forged an agreement with the Government of Tamil Nadu to install 100 charging stations by 2027, underscoring its dedication to propelling India towards a greener, more sustainable future.
