Jawa 42 All Stars Launched At ₹1.80 Lakh: Price, Engine And Features

The Jawa 42 All Stars has been launched in India with a starting price of ₹1.80 lakh, ex-showroom. The latest version brings a substantial list of updates, with more than 60 changes made across its design, hardware, ergonomics and comfort.

Rather than introducing an entirely new motorcycle, Jawa has focused on refining the existing 42 package. The changes are particularly visible around the rear section, while several mechanical and riding-related components have also been revised.

More Than 60 Updates Bring A Fresh Look

The updated Jawa 42 All Stars receives several styling changes that give the motorcycle a revised stance. Among the most noticeable additions are new alloy wheels, a wider rear fender and a compact upswept twin-exhaust system.

The motorcycle also gets a wider 150/70-17 rear tyre, replacing the focus on a slimmer rear profile. Redesigned side panels further distinguish the updated model.

Some familiar design elements remain in place, including the round headlight, 13.2-litre fuel tank and flat, bench-style single-piece seat. Jawa has also worked on the seat cushioning to improve comfort.

Hardware Tweaks Focus On Handling

The Jawa 42 All Stars also receives revisions underneath its updated styling. Jawa has made changes to swingarm stiffness, handling, ergonomics and overall comfort, with the aim of making the motorcycle feel more agile and controlled.

Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and gas-filled twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking comes from disc brakes on both wheels, supported by a dual-channel ABS system.

These updates add to the motorcycle's everyday riding package while retaining its familiar road-focused character.

294.72cc Engine Continues

Powering the Jawa 42 All Stars is the same 294.72cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled four-stroke DOHC engine. It is paired with a six-speed constant-mesh gearbox.

The engine produces a maximum power output of 27.19 hp and peak torque of 26.3 Nm. The combination is designed to deliver the performance expected from the Jawa 42 while the latest changes concentrate on styling, handling and comfort.

The motorcycle also features a single-pod fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.

The Jawa 42 All Stars gets a 13.2-litre fuel tank, an 18-inch front wheel with a 100/90-18 tyre and a 17-inch rear wheel with a 150/70-17 tyre.
