Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup Launch Expected In 2027: Design, Features And Engine Details

The Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup is one of the most anticipated utility vehicles currently under development in India. Several prototypes of the Mahindra Scorpio N pickup truck have been spotted testing on Indian roads over the past few months. While earlier reports suggested a launch in 2026, recent updates indicate that the Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup launch may take place in 2027.

Design and Exterior

Spy images suggest that the Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup will share a strong visual connection with the popular Scorpio N SUV. The pickup truck is expected to retain the same bold and muscular styling at the front, while the rear section will feature a functional cargo bed, giving it a distinct identity in the lifestyle pickup segment.

The front fascia of the Scorpio N pickup truck appears almost identical to the SUV version. It is expected to feature dual-barrel LED headlamps, a blacked-out grille with horizontal and chrome vertical slats, and fog lamps integrated into the bumper within a signature scorpion-sting-inspired chrome element.

At the rear, the Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup will look significantly different from the SUV variant. The cargo bed adds practicality, while the tailgate is expected to feature Mahindra badging along with vertically positioned rectangular tail lamps and integrated turn indicators.

Interior and Features

Inside the cabin, the Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup interior is expected to resemble the layout of the Scorpio N SUV. Spy shots reveal a familiar dashboard design with a rugged yet modern appearance.

However, there are some differences. The pickup version is expected to feature an all-black interior theme with red stitching, giving it a sportier feel compared to the SUV’s dual-tone coffee brown and black cabin. Another visible change is the HVAC control panel, which may include three rotary dials, unlike the two-dial setup seen in the Scorpio N SUV.

The pickup truck is also expected to offer modern connectivity features, infotainment options, and safety technologies similar to those available in Mahindra’s latest SUVs.

Engine and Performance

Under the bonnet, the Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup engine options are likely to remain similar to the existing Scorpio N SUV. The pickup truck is expected to be offered with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine or a 2.2-litre diesel engine.

The petrol engine is expected to deliver around 200 hp and 380 Nm of torque, while the diesel engine may produce 130 hp and 300 Nm of torque. Both engines are likely to be paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

With its rugged design, practical cargo space, and powerful engine options, the Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup 2027 could become a strong contender in India’s growing lifestyle pickup truck segment.
