MG Windsor Pro EV: Full Variant Comparison & Pricing Guide For Indian Buyers

MG Motor India recently introduced the MG Windsor Pro, the premium version of the Windsor electric vehicle lineup. Priced at ₹18.10 lakh (ex-showroom), the Windsor Pro offers notable upgrades in design, technology, and performance. Customers opting for MG’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) scheme can purchase the car at ₹12.49 lakh, excluding the battery cost. The initial introductory price of ₹17.49 lakh was limited to the first 8,000 units and sold out within three days.

Battery Options and Performance

The MG Windsor Pro is available with two battery capacities: a 38kWh pack and a larger 52.9kWh unit. Both variants use a front-mounted electric motor that produces 136 horsepower and 200Nm of torque. The 38kWh battery delivers an ARAI-certified range of 332 kilometres, while the 52.9kWh battery offers an extended range of 449 kilometres on a full charge. The model range is divided into four variants — Excite, Exclusive, Essence, and Essence Pro — with the first three powered by the 38kWh battery and the top-spec Essence Pro featuring the larger battery.

MG Windsor Excite (38 kWh) – Entry-Level Variant

Priced at ₹14 lakh (ex-showroom), or ₹9.99 lakh under the BaaS plan (excluding battery), the Excite variant comes equipped with essential features including:
