Nissan Tekton SUV launched: Check full prices, features and Bharat NCAP rating
New Delhi: Nissan India has launched the new Tekton compact SUV in India, with prices starting at ₹10.49 lakh and going up to ₹18.59 lakh, ex-showroom. Bookings have opened today, July 9, 2026, while deliveries are scheduled to begin from July 20.
The Tekton is closely related to the Renault Duster, as both SUVs share the same RGMP platform and are built at Renault’s manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu. That makes this launch interesting for buyers who like the Duster’s base package but want a Nissan badge, a different design, and some added tech touches.

Nissan has tried to give the Tekton its own look, instead of making it feel like a badge swap. The SUV gets a boxy stance inspired by the global Nissan Patrol. Up front, there is a flat nose, full-width LED DRL, LED headlamps, twin horizontal grille slats, and a chunky bumper with body cladding.
The rear gets connected lights, C-shaped LED tail lamps and silver bumper inserts. On road, this should look more upright and mature than some of the softer-looking compact SUVs in this price band.
