Porsche India's Milestone: Highest-Ever Sales In 2023 Pave The Way For 2024's Innovation Wave
In a remarkable feat, Porsche India reported its highest-ever annual sales, delivering a total of 914 cars in the recently concluded CY2023. This represents a substantial 17 percent surge compared to the preceding year's 779 units and an impressive 64 percent increase from the figures of 2021.
Taycan and Iconic 911 Propel Sales Surge
The boost in sales for the year was notably driven by a surge in Taycan deliveries, totaling 113 units. Additionally, the iconic 911 sports coupe contributed significantly with a record-breaking 65 deliveries. Manolito Vujicic, the brand director of Porsche India, expressed that every model played a crucial role in achieving these outstanding sales figures.
Robust Outlook for 2024 and Expansion Plans
Vujicic shared that 2023 proved to be another robust year for the company, setting a positive benchmark for 2024. Anticipating the launch of several new products and an expanded retail network, Porsche India is poised for further growth.
Expansion Strategy: New Showrooms in Pune and Hyderabad
In line with their growth strategy, Porsche India is set to inaugurate two new showrooms in Pune and Hyderabad within the first half of 2024. Currently operating eight dealerships nationwide, the brand has ambitious plans for expanding its presence in the Indian market.
Diverse Model Portfolio and Electrifying Moves
Presently, Porsche offers a range of models in India, including the 718, iconic 911, Taycan, Macan, Panamera, Cayenne, and more. The recent addition to their lineup is the all-new electric Macan, featuring two four-wheel-drive variants: the 408 hp Macan 4 and the 639 hp Macan Turbo.
Macan Turbo Bookings Open, Deliveries in H2 2024
Porsche India has commenced bookings for the Macan Turbo, priced at Rs 1.65 crore, ex-showroom. Deliveries for this latest electric offering are slated to begin in the second half of 2024, further adding to the brand's innovative and dynamic portfolio.
