Platform & Architecture

While the electric Harrier shares its Omega platform with the diesel version, Tata has adapted it to fit the EV drivetrain. The electric SUV will debut Acti.ev (Gen 2) architecture, allowing for key modifications like a redesigned chassis and floor to accommodate the battery pack and other electric components.

Performance Expectations

Although Tata has kept the powertrain details under wraps, the Harrier EV is confirmed to feature an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system, powered by a rear axle-mounted electric motor. It’s expected to offer more torque than the Curvv EV, likely pushing 500 Nm, and house a larger battery pack for better range.
