Top Electric Cars Set to Launch in 2025: What You Need to Know

The year 2025 is set to be a game-changer for the EV market in India, with major automotive brands rolling out a range of exciting electric models. Hyundai Creta EV
Hyundai will debut its much-anticipated Creta EV at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Auto Expo. This electric SUV is expected to feature a 45 kWh battery pack with a range of 450 km, delivering 138 bhp and 255 Nm of torque. The Creta EV is likely to be priced at Rs 22 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
Maruti Suzuki is entering the EV space with the e Vitara, a direct competitor to the Creta EV. It will offer two battery options — 49 kWh and 61 kWh — with ranges of 450–500 km. Built on the Heartect-e skateboard platform, it’s expected to be priced similarly to the Creta EV.


Toyota Urban Electric SUV
Toyota is set to unveil its version of the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, named the Urban Electric SUV. Slated for a late 2025 launch, it will share powertrain and interior features with the e Vitara, with notable exterior design differences.

Tata Harrier EV
Tata Motors, holding a 58% market share in India’s EV segment, plans to launch the Harrier EV at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo. The Harrier EV will feature dual motors for AWD capability, a 60–80 kWh battery pack, and a 500 km range. Expected pricing: Rs 25–30 lakh.
