Ayushman Card Registration Made Easy: Ration Dealers, ASHA and Anganwadi Workers to Assist

Getting an Ayushman card has now become much easier for eligible families under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY). To ensure that no deserving beneficiary is left out, the district health department has taken an important step by assigning the responsibility of Ayushman card registration to people working at the grassroots level. Ration dealers, ASHA workers , Anganwadi assistants, PHC Sakhis, community health officers and even pharmacists in rural areas are now authorised to help citizens create their Ayushman cards.
