DA Hike 2026: Know What DA Is, How It Is Calculated and How It Differs from IDA

Lakhs of central government employees and pensioners are eagerly waiting for the next Dearness Allowance (DA) revision. Based on the latest inflation data, many experts expect the government to approve a 3% DA hike. While there is no official confirmation yet, reports suggest that an announcement could come in September or October 2026.
