DGCA 'warns' IndiGo after finding dangerous goods not handled properly on a flight
NEW DELHI: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has issued “warnings” to IndiGo after finding “multiple” non-compliances in handling of dangerous materials on a flight. The regulator found the same during a special audit of the airline’s engineering storage facility in Delhi and has asked IndiGo to submit an action taken report within a month. The airline admits there was “spillage of cargo” on one of its flights this Jan post arrival. This cargo was marked as dangerous goods that has a special handling protocol to ensure safety.
