Many farmers had been eagerly waiting for the 23rd instalment of Rs 2,000 of the PM Kisan scheme. They will get it soon as the date for the 23rd instalment of PM Kisan has been announced. The benefits of the scheme are being provided to those farmers whose land details are seeded in the PM Kisan portal, who have their bank accounts seeded with their respective Aadhaar cards (UID cards), and have also completed their e-Know Your Customer eKYC) process.

What is the PM Kisan Scheme’s 23rd instalment date?
The amount will be directly credited to bank accounts of PM Kisan beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) on June 20, 2026. PM Modi will disburse the funds from Tarakeswar, Hooghly , West Bengal.



What is the PM Kisan scheme?
Under this scheme, eligible farmers are provided with a financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year in three equal instalments. This financial assistance helps them meet their needs for seeds, fertilisers, equipment and other agricultural requirements.

How to check your name in the PM Kisan beneficiary list
The PM Kisan website allows you to verify if your name is included in the official beneficiary list of the scheme. Here’s how you can check it-

Step 1: Visit the official PM Kisan portal: Go to https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
Step 2: Access ‘Farmers Corner’: Find the ‘Farmers Corner’ section on the homepage.
Step 3: Select ‘Beneficiary List’: Click on the ‘Beneficiary List’ option within the menu.
Step 4: Select State, District, Block and Village and click on Get Report
It will display all the names of PM Kisan scheme beneficiaries.

Who will not receive the PM Kisan 23rd instalment?
The government has identified certain suspected cases that may be excluded from the PM Kisan scheme beneficiary list. These include:

Farmers who acquired land ownership after February 1, 2019.
Cases where more than one family member is receiving benefits (e.g., both husband and wife, an adult member and minor, etc.).
The benefits for such cases have been temporarily withheld till physical verification is completed.

Is eKYC mandatory to avail benefits of the PM Kisan scheme?
Yes. According to the PM Kisan portal, eKYC is mandatory for all registered farmers. The OTP-based eKYC can be completed online through the PM Kisan website, while the biometric-based eKYC can be done at the nearest Common Service Centres (CSC).

How to complete eKYC for PM Kisan
Eligible farmers should note that completing eKYC is compulsory to receive the 23th instalment of the PM Kisan scheme. Without completing eKYC, they will not receive the next instalment of Rs 2,000.
Farmers can complete their eKYC online by visiting the pmkisan.gov.in website and selecting the ‘e-KYC’ option. They must enter their Aadhaar number, validate it through an OTP and submit it for verification.

Modes of eKYC for PM Kisan scheme

There are three modes of eKYC available to PM Kisan farmer beneficiaries:
(i) OTP-based e-KYC (available on the PM Kisan portal and the mobile app).
(ii) Biometric based e-KYC (available at Common Service Centres (CSCs) and State Seva Kendra (SSK)
(iii) Face authentication-based e-KYC (available on the PM Kisan Mobile app which is used by millions of farmers).
