The much-awaited trailer of Ramayana: Part One was released on Thursday, offering audiences a glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Maa Sita, and Ravi Dubey as Laxman. While the trailer has generated massive buzz, one major absence has left fans curious: Sunny Deol, who plays Lord Hanuman, is nowhere to be seen.

Soon after the trailer dropped, social media was flooded with questions like, "Where is Sunny Deol?" and "Why wasn't Lord Hanuman shown?" as fans eagerly awaited a glimpse of one of the epic's most iconic characters.

For the unversed, Ramayana is being released in two parts, and according to reports, Part One will conclude with the Sita Haran sequence, although the makers are yet to officially confirm this. As per the Valmiki Ramayana, Lord Hanuman enters the story only after Sita Haran, when he meets Lord Ram and Laxman at the foothills of the Rishyamukha mountain during their search for Sita.

If the film indeed ends with Sita Haran, it would explain why Sunny Deol's Hanuman has been deliberately kept under wraps and why the makers chose not to reveal him in the trailer. Many believe his grand entry has been reserved for the second part or the film's closing moments, making it one of the biggest surprises of the franchise.
