The stability in prices comes after a recent increase that affected household budgets across the country. As a result, many consumers are closely tracking city-wise LPG rates before making bookings.

In the national capital, a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder is currently priced at Rs 942. Commercial LPG cylinders, meanwhile, are available at Rs 3,113.50.

Domestic LPG Rates In Major Cities

The latest domestic LPG cylinder prices vary from city to city due to factors such as transportation and local taxes.

In Mumbai, consumers are paying Rs 941.50 for a 14.2 kg domestic cylinder, making it slightly cheaper than Delhi. Bengaluru residents are paying Rs 944.50, while the price in Ahmedabad and Gurugram stands at Rs 949.

Jaipur has a domestic LPG cylinder price of Rs 952.50. In Chennai, the same cylinder is priced at Rs 957.50, while consumers in Kolkata are paying Rs 968.

Among the major cities listed, Lucknow has one of the highest domestic cylinder rates at Rs 976.50.

Highest LPG Prices Seen In Hill And Remote Regions

Consumers in certain remote and geographically challenging regions continue to pay significantly higher prices for LPG cylinders.

Leh currently records the highest domestic LPG price, with a cylinder costing Rs 1,179. North Tripura follows at Rs 1,119.50.

In Gangtok, consumers are paying Rs 1,094.50, while the rate in Aizawl stands at Rs 1,094. Srinagar residents are purchasing domestic cylinders at Rs 1,058.

The higher prices in these locations are largely linked to transportation and distribution costs associated with supplying fuel to difficult terrains.

June Price Hike Still In Effect

Although there has been no fresh revision in LPG prices on 18 June, consumers are still feeling the impact of the increase implemented earlier in the month.

The price of a domestic LPG cylinder was raised by Rs 29 on 7 June. Following the hike, the cost of a 14.2 kg domestic cylinder in Delhi increased from Rs 913 to Rs 942.

The revision added to household expenses at a time when many families are already managing higher living costs.
