SBI Bank Update : State Bank of India (SBI) customers can access several banking services digitally through the YONO app. One useful feature lets customers check their account balance and view transaction details without going through the usual full login process. With a quick authentication step, users can access their account information and m-passbook directly through the app.

SBI YONO Makes Banking Easier

SBI’s YONO app brings several banking services together in one digital platform. Besides regular account access, customers can use features such as balance checking, transaction tracking and quick payments.

The app supports different authentication options, including a six-digit MPIN, biometric authentication, Face ID and SBI user ID and password. This gives customers multiple ways to access eligible services securely.

How to Check SBI Account Balance Without Full Login

Want to quickly check your SBI account balance? Follow these steps on the YONO app:

• Open the SBI YONO app on your smartphone.
• Select the ‘View Balance’ option.
• Choose an available authentication method, such as MPIN, biometric authentication, Face ID, or user ID and password.
• Complete the authentication process.
• Your account balance will be displayed on the screen.

If multiple accounts are linked to your YONO profile, you can also check the balances of those accounts through the app.

How to View SBI Passbook and Transaction History

YONO also allows customers to check recent transactions through its m-passbook facility. After viewing the balance of the account you want to check, select the transaction option shown below the account details.

You can then view the transaction history associated with the selected account. This can be useful when you want to quickly verify payments, deposits or other recent account activity without going through a physical passbook.

SBI YONO Quick Pay : Make Payments Without Login

Another useful feature available on YONO is ‘YONO Quick Pay’. It allows customers to make eligible transactions of up to ₹2,000 without completing the standard app login process.

However, the Quick Pay facility needs to be authorised in advance. Once it has been enabled, customers can authenticate the transaction using options such as MPIN, biometric authentication, Face ID, or their user ID and password.
