The work will be completed in multiple stages, including Pre to Pre NI, Pre NI and NI work. The targeted completion date is October 15, although the disruption period could be extended if the project is not completed within the scheduled timeframe.
One of the key changes involves platform number 3. Its existing loop line will be converted into a third main line. This will allow trains using the line to move at speeds comparable to those on the main line.

According to the information provided, 170 trips involving 16 trains have been cancelled.The affected services include trains connecting important destinations such as Gwalior, Bhopal, Bengaluru and Damoh, along with the Rajya Rani Bhopal Express.

The mega block will lead to several operational changes at Bina Junction:- Routes of 48 trains will be modified.
- 12 trains will be short-terminated before their scheduled destinations.
- Six trains will originate from Malkhedi station instead of Bina.
- Timings of 21 trains that stop at Bina will be revised.
- Several other services may face operational changes during the construction period.
