The work will be completed in multiple stages, including Pre to Pre NI, Pre NI and NI work. The targeted completion date is October 15, although the disruption period could be extended if the project is not completed within the scheduled timeframe.
One of the key changes involves platform number 3. Its existing loop line will be converted into a third main line. This will allow trains using the line to move at speeds comparable to those on the main line.
The changes are expected to reduce delays and improve the overall flow of trains passing through Bina Junction.
The upgraded yard should also reduce the need for trains to wait at outer or red signals. Instead, more trains will be able to move directly towards their platforms, potentially reducing unnecessary delays.

Around 344 train services passing through Bina Junction are expected to be affected by the construction work. According to the information provided, 170 trips involving 16 trains have been cancelled.The affected services include trains connecting important destinations such as Gwalior, Bhopal, Bengaluru and Damoh, along with the Rajya Rani Bhopal Express.

Train Routes And Timings To Change
The mega block will lead to several operational changes at Bina Junction:- Routes of 48 trains will be modified.
- 12 trains will be short-terminated before their scheduled destinations.
- Six trains will originate from Malkhedi station instead of Bina.
- Timings of 21 trains that stop at Bina will be revised.
- Several other services may face operational changes during the construction period.
