Vedanta Power slips into Rs 423-crore loss in Q1

Mumbai, July 29 (IANS) Vedanta Power Limited on Wednesday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 423 crore for the first quarter of FY27, weighed down by a sharp rise in exceptional losses.

The company's consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 2,595 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with Rs 1,981 crore in the corresponding quarter last financial year (Q1 FY26), according to its stock exchange filing.
