15 dead as monsoon batters Himachal Pradesh; 135 roads remain blocked
SHIMLA : 15 people have died in rain-related incidents in Himachal Pradesh between June 30 and July 26 as the southwest monsoon continued to trigger landslides, flash floods and widespread disruption across the state.
According to data released by the Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (HPSDMA), official figures showed that landslides accounted for 14 of the 15 deaths, including 13 in Lahaul and Spiti district and one in Chamba district.
