BENGALURU: Two days after a major disruption, metro services on the Purple Line were briefly affected again on Thursday after the doors of a train at Cubbon Park Metro Station failed to close properly.

The incident occurred around 7. 36pm and was resolved within 17 minutes, metro officials said.

In a statement, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) said a temporary delay occurred due to a technical issue in which the doors of a train at Cubbon Park Metro Station did not close properly, news agency PTI reported.

BMRCL said the issue was promptly rectified by the Operations and Maintenance teams, and normal services have now been fully restored on the Purple Line.
