3 Anbumani faction MLAs walk out
Chennai: Three PMK MLAs of the party president Anbumani Ramadoss faction walked out of state assembly on Wednesday after they were denied an opportunity to speak during a debate on the Karur stampede .
Speaker M Appavu allowed one person from each party to speak. During PMK's turn, floor leader G K Mani, supporter of party founder S Ramadoss, was chosen. MLAs C Sivakumar (Mailam), S P Venkateshwaran (Dharmapuri), and S Sadhasivam (Mettur), insisted they be allowed to represent PMK. Leader of house Duraimurugan said only one person per party could speak. Objecting, the three walked out.
On Tuesday, the three protested, demanding the speaker recognize them as party representatives in the assembly.tnn
