3 villagers killed in lightning strike near Chhattisgarh's Korba district
RAIPUR: Three villagers were killed after lightning struck a field located behind the Chhuri Bakra Bazar sub-station near Katghora in Korba district on Saturday.
Around 25 to 30 villagers were engaged in paddy transplantation (chhuri lagane) in the field when sudden inclement weather, accompanied by heavy thunder and lightning, struck the embankment of the field.
