4 booked for cruelty against stray dogs

Mhow: Kishanganj police have booked a man and others for allegedly catching and displacing stray dogs from a colony on Mhow-Indore road .

The case was registered on Sept 25, but the matter came to the fore on Monday when the police confirmed booking one Vijay Boyat and three others for cruelty against stray dogs .

SHO Kuldeep Khatri said, "The FIR was lodged following a complaint by Niraj, resident of Samarth Park colony on Mhow-Indore road."

Khatri said that CCTV footage was being examined to ascertain the charges and identify other people accompanying the named accused.tnn
