After 4-year legal battle, kidney failure patient wins SBI job
Ahmedabad: A man battling kidney failure and undergoing dialysis three times a week has won a four-year legal fight to secure appointment as a probationary officer with the State Bank of India (SBI).
Naveen Yeluri cleared SBI’s probationary officer recruitment process in 2022 under the quota for persons with locomotor disability. However, the bank denied him appointment after medical reports revealed that he was battling serious kidney ailments since 2011.
