Argos is dishing out big TV upgrade for free, no wonder it's proving so popular
If you fancy a new TV in time for the World Cup, then it's worth checking out a new deal from Argos. The UK retailer has just announced an offer that gives customers a free upgrade to a larger screen. Right now, shoppers who buy a 50-inch Bush TV can boost it up to a more expansive 55-inch panel and not pay a penny extra.
The deal means this giant display - which should be ideal for the summer football action - only costs £229.
"Go Big on us! Upgrade your Bush 50 TV to 55 for the same price," Argos boasts on its website.
Despite that low price, this Bush telly packs some decent features, including 4K Ultra HD visuals and Dolby Audio for more impressive sound.
Another bonus is that it's powered by TiVo technology, which brings access to streaming apps such as Netflix and Disney+ plus it comes with Freely built in.
For those not aware, Freely uses the internet to beam live and on-demand content into living rooms.
Over 60 channels can be watched without paying any subscription fees and it's even possible to pause and rewind live content.
A full TV guide is included, and users also get recommendations for things to watch, which makes it easier to track down shows without scrolling through endless menus
