AHMEDABAD: The Indian Army has rescued more than 790 people from flood-hit areas of south Gujarat, Ahmedabad and the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli after launching relief operations in the wake of heavy rainfall.
South Gujarat received incessant rainfall on July 21 and 22, with showers continuing across several parts of the state over the following days.
