Balrampur murder-suicide: Police probe ₹29 lakh transactions, money dispute angle
Lucknow: Police have intensified their probe into a murder-suicide in Balrampur district in which a man allegedly shot dead his wife and two children before killing himself, with investigators now focusing on financial transactions totalling ₹29 lakh and the events that led up to the deaths.
The incident took place on the night of July 31 in Jhauhna Gosainpurwa village under Kotwali Dehat police station limits. Police said Bajrang Giri allegedly opened fire on his wife Komal , daughter Shraddha and son Jaideep , and then died by suicide using the same firearm. Post-mortem examinations confirmed that all four victims died from gunshot injuries.
