'Bomb-like object' recovered from a field in Fazilka border village
Fazilka: A suspicious object resembling a bomb was discovered in a field on Thursday in Fazilka district near the India-Pakistan international border. According to reports, the incident occurred in the border village of Muhar Khiva. While a farmer was ploughing his field, a heavy, suspicious iron object resembling a bomb emerged from the ground. Recognising the potential danger, the local administration and security forces were immediately informed. Fazilka Sadar station house officer Hardev Singh Bedi said a police team was dispatched to the site immediately upon receiving the information. Border Security Force officials also arrived at the scene.
