Constable chases down robbery suspect

Chennai: An Armed Reserve constable chased and nabbed a 21-year-old man after finding him and another youth behaving suspiciously in Abiramapuram . Police investigation later revealed that the duo had snatched a mobile phone from a pedestrian shortly before they were intercepted. Police said constable Bhuvanesh Prabhu noticed two youths running through Abiramapuram and became suspicious.He chased them for about 500m and apprehended one of them, who was later identified as Joshua . Abiramapuram police arrested Joshua and launched a search for his accomplice. Police officers commended police constable Bhuvanesh Prabhu for his alertness and prompt action in apprehending the robber.
