Constable found dead in police barracks in Chhattisgarh's Sakti district
RAIPUR: A 45-year-old police constable allegedly died by suicide after hanging himself inside the barracks at Hasaud police station in Chhattisgarh's Sakti district on Saturday, raising concerns within the police department.
The deceased was identified as Jai Lahare, a resident of Bhalwahi village in Pamgarh block of Janjgir-Champa district.
The body was found inside the police station premises, following which senior police officers rushed to the spot and launched an investigation. It has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
