DC warns against baseless complaints; inspects Kalka rehab centre

Panchkula : Deputy commissioner Satpal Sharma has warned of strict action against those filing baseless or malicious complaints against de-addiction centres or other institutions.

The warning came during a surprise inspection of the Krishna Foundation De-addiction Counselling and Rehabilitation Centre at Dhatogda village in Kalka Tuesday.

Sharma interacted with patients undergoing treatment and encouraged them to stay committed to a drug-free life. He held individual discussions to assess living conditions, medical care, daily routine and any difficulties faced by inmates.
