Deputy CM Eknath Shinde launches Rs 200-crore project to decongest one of Asia's busiest traffic junction
THANE: Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Sunday announced the Rs 200-crore Teen Hath Naka Traffic Improvement Project aimed at decongesting one of Asia's busiest traffic junctions and reshaping mobility across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region .
The project, expected to be completed within 18 months, will make four of the seven major traffic movements at Teen Hath Naka signal-free, significantly reducing travel time, fuel consumption and traffic snarls for thousands of daily commuters, Shinde said.
