Goa forms poultry corporation to boost prodn, regulate sector

Panaji : State govt has decided to start all types of poultry and poultry products business in India and abroad, and formed the Goa State Poultry Development Corporation Ltd to oversee the businesses. Govt will do poultry farming , rearing, setting up breeders, hatcheries on purchased or leased land.

The corporation will work to organise the poultry sector by framing policy and putting regulations in place.
