Greater Noida Horror: Husband Vanishes After Wife's Body Found In University's Water Tank
The authorities at Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida were jolted when the body of a woman, residing at the servant quarters with her husband and mother-in-law, was discovered in the institution's water tank on Monday, as per police reports .
The woman’s husband, who is employed at the nearby Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS hospital), and mother-in-law are absconding, they added.
Initial findings suggest a dispute had erupted between the woman and her husband. "The body was recovered from the water tank situated above the room of the couple at the servant quarters of Gautam Buddha Nagar University. Police teams have been sent to arrest the accused," stated Shivhari Meena, Additional Commissioner of Police (Law & Order).
A case has been lodged by the family members of the deceased woman. "The body has been sent for post-mortem. The spot has been inspected by the field unit. We are doing thorough investigation on all points," shared an officer.
Further details regarding the deceased woman are yet to be disclosed by the police.
