Haryana to set up 13-acre driver training institute in Ambala
Chandigarh: Haryana transport minister Anil Vij said on Tuesday that the state government will set up a state-of-the-art Institute of Driving Training and Research (IDTR) at Shahpur village in Ambala Cantonment to strengthen road safety , create skilled manpower and open employment avenues for youth.
An agreement for the project was signed between the transport department and Ashok Leyland Ltd . The institute will come up on about 13 acres and will be developed in collaboration with the original equipment manufacturer, Vij said.
