Hry clinches both titles at 32nd sr circle kabaddi tourney

Chandigarh: Haryana won both the men's and women's titles at the 32nd Senior National Circle Kabaddi Championship , which concluded in Chandigarh Monday. The tournament, organised by the Amateur Circle Kabaddi Federation of India , was held from Oct 11 to 13.

In the finals, Haryana defeated Punjab in both categories. The women's team secured a 29-18 victory, while the men's team won 28-16. In the semi-finals, Punjab beat Delhi 36-17 in the women's category, while Haryana got past Chandigarh with a score of 32-16. In the men's semi-finals, Punjab overcame Delhi 35-29, and Haryana defeated Chandigarh 29-23.

The final day's matches were inaugurated by Federation president Davesh Moudgil and general secretary JP Sharma. Former Punjab DGP IPS Chandra Shekhar attended as a guest. The federation announced plans to organise a Federation Cup in the future with participation from more teams.
