IIT Roorkee trains polytechnic students in wastewater reuse

ROORKEE: Twenty-two final-year diploma engineering students from government polytechnics across Uttarakhand underwent a two-day hands-on training programme at IIT Roorkee on sustainable wastewater treatment and reuse. They learnt how treated wastewater can be safely used for irrigation, toilet flushing and industrial applications to reduce pressure on freshwater resources.
