Inside Brett Goldstein's very private love life as JLo dating rumours fly

The Office Romance stars sparked rumours with their flirty press tour.

Brett Goldstein has shut down rumours he's dating his Office Romance co-star Jennifer Lopez, leaving fans curious about who he might be dating.

The British Ted Lasso star born in Sutton, London portrays Daniel, an awkward lawyer opposite JLo as powerful airline CEO Jackie in Netflix's new guaranteed-hit rom-com.

As the company faces a lawsuit from an intimidating rival, Daniel and Jackie find themselves working extremely close together, but the company's zero-tolerance policy on workplace affairs complicates their growing feelings for one another.

Rumours started flying during the film's press tour that the two stars had started dating thanks to their palpable natural chemistry.

However, speaking to Savannah Guthrie on The Today Show, the pair set the record straight by confirming they weren't together.

"There's never a time when I'm seen with somebody or working with somebody where they don't try to put me with the person," Jennifer quipped.

And Brett joked: "If you stand near her, that's what happens."

Jennifer has been married four times, most recently rekindling her romance with Hollywood star Ben Affleck. They tied the knot in 2022, but were divorced last year.

As for Brett's love life, curious fans will be disappointed as, much like his Office Romance character Daniel, he keeps his personal life away from prying eyes.

Very little is known about his romantic history, but he was previously dating fellow comedian Beth Rylance.

He even thanked her in his speech at the Emmys when he won for Ted Lasso, joking: "I was very, very specifically told I'm not allowed to swear, so this speech is going to be f****** short. Beth, I love you."

Beth herself responded in a since-deleted tweet: "Today is the day that my boyfriend goes to the Emmy's as a Best Supporting Actor nominee and I am at home on my second load of laundry. Just to confirm, my boyfriend is Kenan Thompson off of SNL."

Brett and Beth's relationship timeline is unknown and it also hasn't been made public when they broke up. As of now, Brett is believed to be single.

He recently mused on the subject of soulmates, following his 2025 Apple TV sci-fi romance film All of You which explores the theme.

"Do I believe in soulmates? I change my mind," he revealed to InStyle. "I honestly don't know. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I'm not sure there's one person for everyone. I think there's 50 people for everyone.

"I think in your lifetime there are probably 50 people that you should have met. That doesn't mean you'll have sex with, but there's some karmic connection, over millennia. You know what I mean?"
