Irregular waste pickup, regular dumping: Residents flag sanitation, enforcement lapses in Sector 23A

Gurgaon: Unabated garbage dumping in vacant plots and along roads has been ailing the residents of Sector 23A for months. With no regular clearance and sanitation measures, they said living conditions have worsened, especially during rains.

The sector is also an access point that leads to a village and adjoining colonies in the vicinity. With inadequate door-to-door waste collection in these densely populated areas around the sector, and poor enforcement against violators, garbage remains uncleared for days, residents said.
