Jeremy Clarkson and Lisa Hogan's romance from age gap to 'who wears the trousers'

The fifth series of Clarkson's Farm has finally arrived, with the opening four episodes now available to stream on Prime Video as of today (Wednesday, 3rd June).

Former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson is back at Diddly Squat Farm in Chipping Norton, bringing with him a fresh batch of farming escapades, including a Christmas party, sheep-related mayhem, and yet more squabbling with seasoned farmer Kaleb Cooper.

The series opens with Jeremy's emergency hospital admission for cardiac surgery in October 2024, after which he was given strict orders to mind his diet and rest for several weeks.

This leaves the bulk of the farming duties in Kaleb's capable hands, while Jeremy's partner Lisa Hogan takes charge of the farm shop - though she also splashes out on some pricey new lambs that may well prove more hassle than they're worth.

With the beloved farming duo back on screens, fans are keen to learn more about Jeremy and Lisa's relationship, including how they first got together and the age gap between them.

The pair were reportedly introduced at a mutual friend's party in 2017, officially becoming a couple that December. They celebrated entering their ninth year together in December 2025 with a touching Instagram post.

Jeremy exclaimed in the caption "Nine years!", while Lisa joked that their relationship has felt more like 900 years.

Having first crossed paths at that mutual gathering, the couple reportedly enjoyed a courtship of around three months before making their relationship official.

Lisa previously revealed to the Times: "It was quite a long courtship as I didn't know where he was in his life. And I wasn't ready to start dating again; didn't want to go out with anyone. He had to court me for three months."

Lisa, a former model and actress, was previously wed to art collector Baron Steven Bentinck, from whom she separated in 2011.

Jeremy is 66, having been born on 11th April 1960. Lisa is understood to be 52 years of age, creating a 14-year age difference between the pair.

Despite Lisa being Jeremy's junior, and acknowledging he "wears the trousers", she refuses to allow the TV presenter to dominate her.

"I'd like to think it's fairly even, to be honest," she explains. "I do enjoy being a strong woman.

"He'll say he wants something done and I'll try to talk him around to a more sensible way. And then I'll agree to do exactly what he wants... And then I'll go ahead and do exactly what I want!"
