M5 traffic RECAP: 'Police incident' closes motorway in both directions during rush hour

A stretch of the M5 is closed in both directions this morning for a "police-led incident" just before rush hour.

The motorway has been closed in both directions between J31 (ShillingfordAbbot) - J30 (Exeter) due to the incident on Monday morning, May 18.

National Highways has confirmed that there are currently no delays on approach and a diversion has been put in place.
