Mentally Ill Man Jumps To Death From Second Floor In Pipla
Nagpur: A 65-year-old retired Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation employee died after jumping from the second floor of his apartment in Pipla Phata within the limits of Hudkeshwar police on Sunday.
The deceased, Vasudev Dubalwar, was suffering from mental illness for the past six months, according to his son Nitin, 37, a police constable with the rural police, who is the complainant in the case.

Nitin told police that his father, who lived with the family at the apartment, jumped from the second floor due to his deteriorating mental condition. He was declared dead on the spot.
Hudkeshwar police registered the case as an accidental death based on the complainant's statement and initiated further inquiry. No foul play is suspected.
