Netflix's new dark thriller is 'best one yet' and fans can't stop rewatching
If you're searching for something fresh to get stuck into this week, then this captivating thriller series, newly available on Netflix, might be precisely what you're after.
Finding something worthwhile to watch on television isn't always straightforward. With countless programmes available across numerous streaming platforms, you can find yourself scrolling endlessly for hours before discovering something that catches your eye.
However, if you're after something new to occupy your time this week, one social media reviewer has urged everyone to give a brand new dark thriller that's just arrived on Netflix a chance.
Luke Eccleston, who posts online as Eccy Reviews, shared a video on TikTok last week in which he lavished praise on a new crime drama miniseries entitled I Will Find You, which he reckons could be the "best" thriller series ever made.
I Will Find You is the latest offering from author and producer Harlan Coben, adapted from his 2023 novel of the same name.
More than 12 of Coben's works have previously been adapted for film and television, and Luke believes his latest project is likely his "best one yet".He said: "Harlan Coben just dropped his brand new series on Netflix, and it genuinely might be his best one yet. The series I'm talking about is called I Will Find You, and as I said, it might honestly be the best one yet. It feels completely original.
"It's a lot darker and grittier. It reminded me a lot of His & Hers, which was released earlier this year.
Luke proceeded to outline the show's storyline, which centres on a man named David Burroughs (Sam Worthington) who is wrongfully jailed for his son's murder. Five years on, David is contacted by his ex-sister-in-law, Rachel (Britt Lower), with information suggesting his son may still be alive.
He continued: "It is full of twists and turns, and it is a really entertaining show.
"Honestly, it kept me guessing until the very end, even though I had little suspicions. There are twists and turns on the way to the finale, and it is definitely a show that is worth watching."
I Will Find You makes ideal binge-watching fare for a midweek television session, particularly as the entire series comprises just eight episodes.
