Playstation down LIVE: Thousands of PS Network users report issues

Thousands of UK users of the Playstation Network have reported experiencing issues using the service. More than 5,000 reports of issues were logged by users in Britain by noon on Downdetector, the site allowing users of various platforms to record any issues they are experiencing.

Among the issues being experienced, some can access the Playstation Store but visualise an error when trying to buy a new game. Others claim they cannot access digital games in their libraries. One UK user wrote on Downdetector: "Can't load any digital games at all bought or free. Can't connect to servers to verify licences, doesn't matter what i try to load i get the same message every time."
