Politics LIVE: Andy Burnham set to give bombshell interview in minutes

Andy Burnham is set to give a live radio interview on Thursday evening.

The Makerfield MP, who is set to be Prime Minister in less than three weeks, will likely be asked questions about defence and grooming gangs by Andrew Marr.

He could also be asked about taxes, Brexit or even his Cabinet as Mr Burnham has failed to answer questions on these issues so far.

He refused to take questions on Monday following a major speech in Manchester where he pledged to "rewire" Britain.
