Popular Nottingham park cordoned off as police swarm area
Police issued a statement on Tuesday after officers were called to reports of a "man's sudden death" at a popular city park. Nottinghamshire Police officers were called to Forest Recreation Ground in Mansfield Road shortly before 6.15am today.
There, the officers found a man in his 20s. Despite the best efforts of first responders, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the man's death is not believed to be suspicious, the Nottingham Post reports.
By Tuesday afternoon, officers had left the area, with a piece of torn police tape attached to a fence being the only sign of the incident, the news outlet added.

"Despite the best efforts of first responders, the man, aged in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
