Prayagraj cops attach properties of slain gangster Atiq Ahmed worth Rs 110 crore

PRAYAGRAJ: Continuing its crackdown against mafia and gangsters, police on Tuesday attached properties worth Rs 110 crore belonging to slain don-turned-politician Atiq Ahmad, which were allegedly accumulated through illegal means, at Mauja Bhiti Taluka Asadullapur and Mauja Kathula Gauspur in Sadar tehsil under the Gangster Act .

This was the first major property attachment exercise carried out by the district police against slain gangster Atiq Ahmed in the district after his killing.
