Punjab youth dies in Germany after drowning in lake; family appeals for repatriation of body

PTC Web Desk: A youth from Punjab's Amritsar district lost his life after drowning in a lake in Germany, leaving his family devastated. The bereaved family has appealed to the Central and Punjab governments to help bring his body back to India so they can perform his last rites according to their religious traditions.

The deceased has been identified as Harshpreet, a resident of Budha Theh village near Baba Bakala in Amritsar district.
