RAS '23 topper is farmer's son, govt school student
Ajmer : Kaushal Choudhary , who topped RAS exam 2023, is the son of a farmer from Kadel village in Ajmer. He completed his schooling at a govt school and is currently working as a lab assistant at a govt school in Tabiji.
After the results were declared Wednesday evening, he said, "This is all the blessing of my family and the hard work of my sister."
Kaushal's birthplace, Kadel village, is on the way from Pushkar to Nagaur.
He completed his Class 10 at the govt school in his village but after that there was no way to study further, so he went to a govt school in Kuchaman district.
He was fond of physics and mathematics and went to Maharaja College in Jaipur for further studies.
"My sister, Indra Choudhary, who is a constable in Rajasthan police and is posted in Ajmer, inspired me," Kaushal said.
Kaushal stayed at the police lines residence of his sister to study for the RAS exam. "This was my second attempt. In the first attempt I failed in the interview, then tried to work harder to get success," he said.
As Kaushal's family celebrated at their home in Kadel village, he said, "Dedication and hard work are the only keys to success."
